I've always had a great interest in ancient Egyptian gods, but there was no bat-headed god! Well that needed to be remedied, I figured. So meet Kharernebty, messenger to the gods and a goddess of the harvest. I imagine her to be a benevolent sort of goddess, but forget your sacrifices to her and she'll send a plague of locusts after your arse.
Kharernebty is a name taken from an egyptian pharoah's wife. She also holds a reed and a royal stamp in her hands. Also, the egyptian 'beards' were a sign of status, not gender. Even royal women pharoahs wore them, thus, so will Kharernebty there. I had fun on this piece, so enjoy.

I thought about that several times myself. The fact that there are bats in the desert doesn't change the fact that they aren't in the list of many Egyptian animal gods. I've wondered why they weren't chosen.
